I just stepped on the scale this morning and literally gasped! I haven’t been eating the best since Christmas but its all good. The comeback is always greater than the setback. I also noticed that I was experiencing a bit of bloating this morning and it hit me! I haven’t been drinking my detox water concoction in the last few weeks.
I try to drink at least a gallon of water a day (when I’m on a healthy eating stretch). However, more recently I’ve switched it up and started adding the following ingredients to my water. It has definitely helped me reduce bloating in my pudgy stomach. (WARNING: Make sure when you’re drinking this water you have access to a bathroom at all times!)
Here’s the recipe:
- 1 gallon of water
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1 sliced lime
- 1 small cucumber
- Couple sprigs of mint
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate over night to infuse all the flavors.

- Mint sweetens your drink without adding sugar and aids in digestion.
